Rhythmic Ryan (Bodhrán and Singer)
​Ryan comes from Ireland and is a learner of the Irish language. Ryan grew up singing Irish ballads at home with his family. He is a keen player of the Bodhrán drum and has played in Irish folk groups previously in Switzerland and Romania before joining the Alpine Rovers.

Clinking Kurt (Guitar and Singer)

Kurt was born into a singing South Tyrolian Family. He is believed to have migrated to Switzerland with nothing but his guitar. Together with his wife, he has been appearing as duo "Selma & Kurt" since 2005. He is a big fan of The Pogues and is delighted to play rhythm guitar in an amazing Irish folk band.

Delightful Diana (Percussion and Singer)
Diana comes from Romania where she played previously in an Irish folk group. She sung for 13 years in the Romanian Children's Radio Choir and performed all over the world. She is a Mezzo-Soprano and enjoys singing soft Irish love songs.

Joyful Georgina (Violin and Singer)
As a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, and after playing alongside great soloists such as Nigel Kennedy and Paul Tortelier, Georgina diversified into folk music and joined the Edinburgh folk group Scotland Small. She worked in Austria, Turkey, Cyprus, Slovakia and England before getting lost in the Swiss Alps over 17 years ago.

Ignitable Ivo (Flute and Singer)
Ivo, although born in Switzerland, always shared the love for a merry tune and the waters of life just like the Irish. He is a trained dancer and theatre maker who has performed on many stages, but finally decided to become famous with his Alpine Rover friends.

Fantastical Franco (Guitar and Singer)
Franco is musician and studied the classical guitar in Zürich and Vicenza (Italy). He worked as guitarist for many years in Spain and Mexico and is founder of The Alpine Rovers project. Franco plays the octave guitar, classical guitar, double bass, sings and writes arrangements for the band.
